Benchmarking Reports
IBI’s powerful benchmarking program provides a true picture of your health-related benefits performance by program.
Comparative reporting gives you the intelligence you need to make a smart business case in terms that influence your senior management.
Industry summary reports detail program-specific performance compared to industry peers and identify some of the cost drivers across the industry group. Depending on the data provided, reporting may include lost productivity from the type of absence that’s covered by the program and its impact on bottom-line results.
There are two types of reports for each benefits program. Employer-level reports compare your results to averages for other employers in your industry group. Claims-level reports compare your average claims results to all claims in the comparison group, regardless of claims for individual employers. Both types of industry summary reports are available to our members through the benchmarking portion of our website.
For our employer members, we offer the option of participating in our Employer Direct Benchmarking program. This allows an employer to submit data on their company to be benchmarked against results for an industry of their choosing. The resulting Employer Direct benchmarking reports contain both employer and claim level comparisons as well as a lost-productivity estimate for the company being benchmarked.
